EPISODE #012 – Steve Richards

Steve Richards (@steve_richo) is a 4 time Bathurst 1000 Champion.

Steve began his racing career in karts at 15 and went on to become the Australian Formula Ford Champion in 1994. His racing achievements are many including, to date, being the only driver who has won back-to-back Bathurst Championships diving for different car manufacturers.

After stepping away from the V8 series as a full-time driver, Steve began working through the transition from elite sportsman to that of a successful business owner. He started his own team to race the Australian Carrera Cup in 2011, a series he went on to win in 2014.

Steve has now partnered with BMW and is competing in the Australian GT Championship Series.
